M.A.R.S.™ A-114 is a Speakon amplifier distribution module for passive speaker array's. The enclosure is stainless steel and is a 1/2 (19" 2RU) that attaches as a sidecar to other M.A.R.S. 2RU products like the P-2308 or P-2309.
There are also accessory hardware fittings that assist in rigging the unit behind speaker rigging or mounting in an overhead truss for distributed speaker array's or delay positions.
There are two (4) NL8 connectors on the back panel, each of which are parallel connected to a pair of NL4 connectors on either side. One NL4 representing pins 1 & 2 (+ & -) and the other NL4 representing pins 3 & 4 (+ & -).
These connectors are then parallel connected to the front panel NL4's on the top and bottom row.
The NL8's on the right side of the front panel are parallel connected to 16 pins of the 19 Pin Female SOCA connector found adjacent on the Front Panel. These 16 contact connections are parallel connected to only pins 1 & 2 (+ & -) of the NL4 connectors located on both front & Rear panels.

Note that the connections from Rear to Front panel are wired together using Anderson Power Pole connectors, making the connector array adaptable to alternative speaker wiring requirements.
The SOCA connection is not intended to be used with standard Lighting SOCA Cable that have ground rings installed which would short out amplifier channels. It is recommended that a dedicated Speaker SOCA Cable be used with this product.
