This is a break-out box that connects the first two contacts (pin 1+, 1-) of an NL4 connector to the first two contacts (pin 1+, 1-) of an NL4 and the other two contacts of the first NL4 connector (pin 2+, 2-) and connects them to the first two contacts (pin 1+, 1-) of a second NL4 connector.� ~ This has the same wiring as a COMBO that uses all NL2/Combo connectors. ~ Applications: This enables two (2) full range speakers to be connected to a single four (4) conductor speaker cable (combining two speaker cables into one).� Due to the fact that only one set of contacts of each NL2/combo connectors are connected to only one half of the NL4 connector, only full range speakers can be connected.� Using a second DISTRO or COMBO (inverted), or any similar section of a box within the DISTRO or COMBO family of Cable Cube products, at the amplifier output position will combine two amplifier outputs into the single NL4 connector. Then a four (4) conductor speaker cable can be utilized to minimize cable spaghetti.�~ Practical Solution: This product is it is able to take outputs from Venue installed stage boxes that are only wired for full range speaker outputs and use short jumpers from two monitor channels in the stage box into a COMBO or any one of the DISTRO family products to combine (converge) these two speaker lines into the box, creating a 4 conductor BI-Amp monitor NL4 Speakon output for BI-Amp floor monitors without having to rewire the stage!
